Laura Partridge, MA, MFT
Laura brings to her work an implicit belief in the connection between body, mind and emotions and the healing qualities of the therapeutic relationship. She works with individuals, couples and families struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, parenting and more.
Trained in Bioenergetics, which is a relational form of psychotherapy that works to integrate the body, mind and emotions, Laura works with her clients in developing a relationship in which her clients can explore the issues and struggles that keeps them from feeling alive and fully present.
Laura's early training includes work with abused and neglected children, adolescents and their families in a residential treatment center and in local public schools. She facilitated parenting classes and domestic violence support groups for non-profit agencies as well as counseling individuals and couples in clinical settings. Laura maintains a private practice in Escondido .
Laura received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology. She has completed a 4-year, post-graduate training program in Bioenergetic Analysis from The Southern California Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis (www.bioenergetics-sciba.org).
