PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Private Practice Therapist – (MFC 37920) Fully trained Bioenergetic Therapist (CBT), providing psychotherapy services to individuals, families, couples, children and adolescents.  Specialized training in substance abuse and addictive disorders, dissociative disorders, trauma, bereavement and pet loss.

 

Family Therapist – In English and Spanish, conducting individual and family therapy sessions, as well as group therapy with substance abusers, homeless populations and probationers. Teaching psychoeducational groups on domestic violence, parenting skills, stress reduction and coping tools to eliminate substance abuse. Offering pregnant and parenting adolescents psychotherapy sessions in parenting skills, child development and family therapy.  Working with monolingual Hispanic families and their obese children to address and offer change in areas of behavioral health, nutrition and lifestyle choices.
